How Hostinger’s referral program works

Hostinger lets its customers share a referral link or code. When a new customer buys an eligible service through it, the new customer gets a discount at checkout and the person who shared it earns a reward.

Hostinger’s support page explains that a friend can either open the referral link or enter the code directly at checkout. Both routes give the same result: the discount shows in the order summary as a REFERRALDISCOUNT line.

Eligible services include shared hosting, cloud hosting, agency hosting, VPS, Hostinger Email, Hostinger Reach, the AI website builder, AI automation apps and Hostinger Agent. Domain-related services are not eligible.

Referral code JX9LEOSPEPWF vs a coupon or promo code

For you, the buyer, there’s no practical difference. You paste the code in the same field and the discount appears in the same place.

• Referral code: shared by a customer or partner, linked to Hostinger’s referral program. It’s the type of code that works for new customers today.
• Promo or coupon code: a generic term people search for. Most “Hostinger promo codes” you find online are referral codes too, just with a different name.
• Automatic sale price: the discounts on Hostinger’s website, like the Black Friday sale, don’t need a code at all.

Because only one code works per order, using JX9LEOSPEPWF means you aren’t stacking it with another referral code. Pick one and check the summary line.

How to use the Hostinger referral code JX9LEOSPEPWF

1. Open the cart from a button on this page. The link already includes the code.
2. Or go to Hostinger, choose a plan and type JX9LEOSPEPWF in the coupon field at checkout.
3. Choose a billing period that qualifies: 12 months or longer for web hosting, the AI website builder and OpenClaw; 1 month or longer for Cloud, VPS, Agency, Business Email, Reach and Hostinger Agent.
4. Create your Hostinger account during checkout. Already registered users don’t count as new customers.
5. Check the order summary for REFERRALDISCOUNT -20% before you pay.

Who can’t use a referral code

• Existing accounts: Hostinger says already registered users, even if they never bought anything, don’t count as new customers. More on that in Hostinger coupon for existing customers.
• Renewals and upgrades: the referral program only covers the new purchase.
• Domain-only orders: domain services aren’t part of the program. See the Hostinger domain coupon guide.

Is it worth using a referral code?

Yes, if you’re a new customer. It costs nothing, it applies on top of Hostinger’s promotional price, and you can confirm it before paying. If you want the code applied without typing it, use the buttons on this page or on any guide in the Hostinger coupon code page.
