What the game shows about your connection
According to Konami, during the match the antenna icon shows the quality of your connection to the game server, and after the match you can view the network graph. Because the antenna measures your own connection to the server, your opponent may see a different level.
Konami’s tips
- Close background apps.
- Stay as close as possible to the router when playing on Wi-Fi.
- Avoid large data transfers on the same network during the match.
- Graphics: Konami explains that lag can appear when “High” graphics are used on devices below the recommended spec, with less than 4 GB of RAM. Lower the graphics in that case.
- Wireless connections: for online matches against other players, Konami doesn’t recommend wireless connections (Wi-Fi, mobile data or tethering), because they’re more prone to instability. On a phone, that means getting the strongest signal you can.
